Its an Anglia I am getting resprayed...thin enough coat of paint on it at present...Thinking of going Two Tone... Trying to to think of top and bottom colours...hmmmmmmm

Paint Job some advice

Colour at present light Green...( nice enough)

Is it more expensive and a lot more hassle to change colour..taking of racing green or something ??

Is there different paint finishs ?? what that is extra glossy ??shiny ??
Is there a finish that will withhold rust ...

Change of direction in diagnosis I think the head gasket is ok...rad contents fine etc I checked the fuel resorvoir and when turning her..the fuel is peeing out of this resorvoir.. There is a ballon float in this resoirvoir and maybe that is not operating.. Basically there is a fuel blockage somewhe...

Aprat from the mayonaise sunstance in the Rad..
Compressision test would tell if I had blown it ??

PS would it cut car while I was in mid flow....
Can a warped head be easily fixed ?

CAM.. I saw the same 56 splitscreen as mine on E Bay..the other day..immaculate..jesus she was very good nick. I was thinking about my own last night on how she has aged over the last three years..not too bad but ugly in places.. God I could have cried..it is amazing on how you can become attched to...

My Mechanic thinks head gasket is gone in my morris..
Is it a hellish job to replace it ?? will it cost me a fortune ?? am I doomed?

When it rains it pours.. My Laptop packed it in the day after..probably gone to gone just overa year old...

I got a new battery a few weeks back..made no real difference..
Lights wipers etc etc all fine..and I can not think of anything that would be causing a battery drain...Sparcest interior ever !!!!!!!

The starter....can also be started from inside the engine cover.. Little.. switch on the back of it... that cranks her up.. This fails to work as well ubnless she has been driven for a while.. It is deffinetly power-Battery related as After a mild run she is fine ...it appears that over ten or so hours of activity she gets sick again.

Thanks Lads Unfortunatly, the problem is back...I got a new Battery...Shoved her in..Yes I thought..Untill this morning..Out with the starting handle again. Luckily she started first turn on that. But [EDITED - PLEASE DON'T SWEAR]...its playing havoc with my happiness. One go to start...and if fails...

I was thinking its the battery to be honest.. I have a 20 amp battery charger..and have charged the life of that battery.. Is there a stage you can get to on batterys where they generally give up.. ? Think I might for a new battery... Is there a lot more battery charge needed to pull starter than ac...

Dodgy Starting.

Having slight starting problems with my 56 minor. If the car is idle for a day or more, and I go to start her running in to problems. I get about two attempts from the starter ..and if she dosen't start straight away then its out with the starting handle. The starter pull out..becomes completely non...
