Yeah, second hand but it looks great and is much better than the colinder that turned my moggy into the flying scotsman :lol:

Radiator Repair Midlands

Hi there, does anyone know any rad repairers in the Midlands area (preferably near Stoke).
Mine has sprung a small leak, ive tried Rad Weld but its not helped, I can only do about 30 miles before I have to stop an top up!

After much WD40 an under the breath swearing I finally got the tank cracked open and she looks like a surgeons table inside, amazingly clean :)

Before you do anything remove the receiver tank bungs/plugs, wash out the inside of the receiver tank. let the inside dry and then examine for corrosion. If there is any doubt as to the condition / thickness of metal of the receiver tank have the receiver tank professionally hydraulically tested. I...

The Morris Maria/Ital workshop manual is well worth having as it goes into a lot more detail than the Minor wksp manual and specifies engine torque settings which are not quoted in the Minor wksp manual.
