Another tip,

Take a bar of soap and rub it on your tire. Cover the tire completely. Paint the tire, then wash the soap from the tire. The layer of soap will prevent paint from adhereing to the tire.

So the consensus is that roll bars are a good fit? I don’t care for that battle ship wallow when rounding a corner, even with new dampers. May have to look into that mod.

Ahem...

Looking at my certificate from the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust:

The color of my Minor is Trafalgar Blue.
Also states the interior trim color.

The Certificate does indeed state the orginal color of the car as shipped.

I was taught to put a wad of grease on the palm of one hand. Then, holding the bearings with the other hand, roll the bearings with a little force into the grease, forcing grease into the bearings. Continue turning the bearings in your hand until all the bearings have had grease forced into the area...

Hi Paul, I have found that some radios establish the ground or Earth through the antenna. This may be your problem. The antenna may have to ground to the body to complete the electrical circuit. I had a truck once that would give radio reception intermittintly, I noticed sparks coming from the fende...

A 33mm socket fits. I actually bought a new steering wheel nut and tried it in sockets at Halfords until I found a fit.
