Inner wing repair

Has anyone got any tips on making sure that everything is lined up once you cut away all your reference points. I've scribed around the panel after bolting it to the existing captive nuts but it's bound to distort as the hinge side of the panel is flat whereas the existing hinge cover plate is curve...

What's it meant to look like ?

Just taken the front wings off my 4 door 1000 and the bottom sill corners have rusted away Before I start buying replacement panels has anyone got a picture of how it should look so I kown what bits to replace

That explains why I have a healthy oil guage reading but constant orange light - it must be easier fitting the gauge than replacing the switch

Has a similar problem with the Volvo. The engine fired once and then refused, there were sparks getting to all the right places at the right time and petrol was flowing. Turned out to be a break in the low tension wire from the coil to the ignition switch. It wasnt a full break so occasionally fired...

Is it worth it ??

Just bought our third morris (fourth if you count the Oxford that steered like a boat) as a stop gap while our Volvo Amazon is having work done for the MOT. How do i check if the trunnions are okay - I've waggled the wheels and can see movement in the rubber bushes and the tracking is way out. Also ...
