Dont mean to upset anyone on here, but what I personally dont agree with in concourse is that people think that they have to pollish every nut and bolt on the car so it looks like a mirror, also they have to think they have to get all the nuts facing the right way. In my oppinion its all a load of r...

ok, then, I suppose you could use humbrol like some people have mentioned, or another good idea is to mix up small amounts or cellulose paint in tubs and paint it with a brush, This should give a good finish, but I don't know weather you would need to primer first.

RE: piping

I work at an upholsterers, And you can buy a kit that enables you to paint the piping around the seats to the required colour. I painted the whole of the seats on a car and the piping and the results are excellant. If the piping is damaged though it really shows it up.

As they are so cheap and easy to come by wouldnt it be easier to buy one, or do you want to keep it because it is origional to your car. Im sure that you can buy one exactly the same in good nick for your car.

RE: Re: RE: Swage line removal

Could you reverse the swage? by putting it through the swage maqchine the other way. That or you could cut down the middle of it and then shrink the metal and weld up the seem you have just made, Then when you grind the weld off everything should be ok, Just put a smear of seem sealant over it to st...

Lead loading

Have replaced the rear quater pannel on my 66 2 door. Instead of using filler when I had welded it in I Lead loaded it. Just want to say that I got most of it on the floor but the overall job was great. Has anyone else on here had a go at it?

Could you set the timing to something like 4 degrees before. and see if this cures the problem. also you could make yourself a heat diflector to direct the heat away from the fuel line to reduce vapourisation, then more fuel wil get to the carb more easily.
