then seam seal any welds or flanges where water might get in
Does that mean John that not all welds have to be seams.

Got my new wood today and it comes with 6 square fillets, any idea where these go, and what`s the best thing to go between wood and metal, ie, dum dum, underseal, nothing.

Why is it better than filler?.
Can`t say mate, being a humble DIYer i just assumed that replacing metal with metal would be better, i`ve only ever seen it done on telly and i must say it looked fantastic and it seemed just as easy as filler so why not ?

Not much advice as to methods etc but i do know how you feel.
I think it`s just a case of grab the angle grinder and get cutting, that`s what i did anyway and it seems to be working out.

Hi MM I`ve got some new wood to go on, it`s just that rear corner in photo that`s the biggest headache although i`ve just seen & ordered the particular bit that the bumper stud bolts onto, { good old ESM } the rest can be fashioned out of metal i have laying around. Some photos of your own effor...
