In MY experience i would say that 99% of the panels i have fitted have needed some sort of adjustment to align correctly (and i have fitted a great many!!) . Personally i wouldn't recommend pre-assembling panels and the spot welder you probably have is nowhere near as powerful as the industri...

I had Firestone's (145x14) and the wire started to appear on the outside edge of the tread towards the sidewall!! :o It wasn't a one off either as 2 of our cars had the same problem and the tyres were bought 6 months apart! :-?
Would never have them again!

BMC, Yes, i have the high mounted filter which is the problem, but i thought all A+ engines had the "ribbing" on the engine block :-? . The block i have is smooth but without tappet chest covers and with the high filter. I will look into GAS's suggestion today. Thanks for the advice about ...

Hi Onne,
The problem i have is not being able to tap into the oilway due to my engine type! Its not a simple job like all other a-series engines!

Hi GAS, Thanks for your reply. I will look Merlin motorsport up and have a look. I am not sure which oil cooler to use yet, but i remember seeing a Metro with one as a standard fit and thinking it looked about right, and being as it was a factory fit on the a-series then it must be suitable! I think...

Marina 1275 oil cooler fitting. Anyone done this?

I am thinking of fitting an oil cooler to my 1275 Marina engine, but was wondering if anyone else had done this, as it appears that there is no-where to tap into because of the oil filter mounting, unlike all the other a-series engines with the oil filter fed from a pipe. I guess the only way to do ...
