Show your Car on the Lancaster Insurance stand at the Classic Motor Show NEC

Hi all I haven't been on for a while so I hope you're all well :-) As per the subject title we're looking for a number of car club member vehicles to display on the Lancaster Insurance stand at the NEC this November. It would be great to have a Moggy on the stand! The theme for the show this year is...

Re: FULL and FRANK CONFESSION

Very interesting tale Roy - I can see how your intense dislike of headlamp peaks has come about

You've converted at least one person.... i'll leave the headlamp peaks off when the restoration of my Traveller is complete :-)

Hopefully it won't be as bad as it was for the Centenary.....that was a very miserable wet weekend!

Re: Insurance

I have no doubts at all that FJ will keep the young driver scheme going. The MMOC young members are a pretty sensible bunch so I don't imagine it resulting in a lot of claims You are right, as long the broker has an insurer with an 'appetite' to write this type of business then it would be very simp...

Re: Insurance

Morning Roy Yes I moved on from FJ several months ago but still very much in the classic car insurance industry. I've tried to stay away from insurance related threads as the club do still have an exclusive relationship with FJ and it would be wrong to come on here banging the drum for my new employ...

Re: Insurance

Thanks Simon I think it's the combination of business use and the logo that's turning off the others. What it needs is for a sensible broker to pick up the phone to the insurer and actually explain the details. Other than the additional mileage I don't see how it's adding a great deal of risk. The i...

Re: Project Nancy

Thanks Steve She does look lovely on the top. The paintwork, wood and interior are great. It's just the underneath that's gone Biggest problem is someone has tried to hide the worst of it. There was actually an inner flitch repair panel stuck on top of the original flitch panel which had mostly rott...

Project Nancy

Hi all Just thought i'd pop by and share my latest project with you all. This is Nancy. Nancy is suffering from a nasty attack of tinworm and needs pretty much all of the bits you can't see replacing. So far I've replaced the passenger side floor, kidney panel, inner flitch and wheel arch. Managed t...

Re: Insurance

Clare

I've sent you a private message. I used to look after this scheme for one of the brokers you've already mentioned but have now moved elsewhere. I can most likely help you with this.

I've re-registered as a new user as my old username made reference to my old company.

Best regards
