Re: What exhaust for Marina 1275?
Finally got around to fitting Marina combined manifold, HS4 carb, aftermarket air filter and big bore exhaust. Power increase is noticeable, fuel consumption seems about the same as when running with Minor ancillaries. I was worried it was set too lean – rad cap was hot for the first time ever, and ...

Re: What exhaust for Marina 1275?
Spot-on, midget - i’m Just looking for a simple upgrade. It’s a bit silly swapping to a bigger engine then stifling it. The car’s a daily driver, mostly short local trips with the occasional long motorway run. There are a lot of hills here in Cornwall! As ever, this forum has come up trumps (though ...

It has a 1275 from a Marina, 5-speed Type 9 box and 3.9 rear end, electronic ignition and electronic fuel pump. It currently runs the ancillaries fitted to the orig...

Re: Noisy diff
Thanks, bmcecosse. Club spares don't have anything suitable; before I shell out for a recon unit, does anyone have a good used example kicking round their garage?

Noisy diff
Good afternoon. The diff in my 1962 Traveller is howling like a banshee. It's always been noisy, but now it's drowning out the radio. It's mostly whiny under acceleration. Any idea how long it will last? I'm reluctant to go too far from home in case something drastic happens. Thanks in advance.
