Re: Roof Rack Chroming

I suggest that you look into powder coating. Before you dismiss the idea... I have seen truly excellent shiny silver powder coating. Step back a couple of metres and you would swear it is chrome. Don Ive never seen this done, I dont suppose you have any pictures of how it turns out? Thanks for the ...

Roof Rack Chroming

Hi everyone,

Has anyone had any experiance getting large items chromed?
Ive approached a few chromers as advertised in the Bumper Chroming thread but they have all said they would not be able to chrome my roof rack due to the size/one piece design.

Any advice?

Stereo - Where to pull the power?

Hi Guys, Im finally getting round to fitting a radio this weekend.
Both the stereo and the speakers will be out of site under the dash but I was wondering where the best place would be to pull the power from?

Even better, is there a good 'dummies guide' anyone could recommend??

Kr

Re: 1967 2 Door Restoration 'Belinda'

Hi Everyone! Sorry I havnt been around in a while. Massive family trauma has turned me into a bit of a social hermit, there is light at the end of the tunnel though! Please accept my apologies if anyone was waiting for a reply from me on anything, I havnt had chance to go through all my mails but I ...

Re: Valuation Thread/Sub section

Arcade machines hold alot of memories for me, i grew up playing them before the home consoles become the thing, i miss the old games so i am in the early stages of building a full size arcade machine, I have a few spare pc monitors and a raspberry pi and a box of buttons and joysticks, I might just...

Valuation Thread/Sub section

Just a thought, would it be of interest/use to add a valuation section to the sales area? That way if someone was looking at buying/selling an item but was unsure of value they could ask the community for advice. I also collect vintage Arcade Machines/Pinball Tables and have found this sort of categ...

Mike, If you insist! We have a Metro 'sandwich' type water-cooled oil cooler fitted to our 1380. The water feed is in 5/8" bore hose from the outlet of the heater (Mini core) and is 'always on'. We use Castrol 10W/60 Edge full synthetic oil. With an 88°C water stat all year round, the normal r...

Over the last few years i must have gone through a dozen condensors and they only seem to pack up in the pitch dark when Im away from home.... I know its no...
