Ah! I think I have worked out that it is an 'M' shape with feet that fit the small slots in the mech. and the centre of the 'M' in the indent in the plate. Now I just have to make a couple......!

The shelf I bought was attached to this tray. I had assumed it was for the later type. I have been trrawling the previous posts and think I like the idea of a plastic angle supported by a wooden strip. Hi All I have a 1965 convertible, which came with a lot of bits missing, seals, grommets, gearbox cover screws,basically anything which was not obvious. It also came without a parcel shelf. I have acquired one but cannot work out how it fits. It seems about 3/4" short. Here are some pics. I am ...
