Re: Good autojumbles this summer?

There are bargains and bits that are difficult to locate which can be found at Beaulieu. I think it is worth a visit. The September one is bigger and international in nature. My problem is that the organisers are letting in sellers of toot and junk so it is occasionally like a boot sale rather than ...

Re: Do you think a reproduction Morris Minor would work these days?

The Mini, the Beetle, the fiat 500 and their larger versions are all very well in their way but none have the charm of 1950s /60s motoring with early braking, effective distances, double de-clutching and the occasional ingress of rain. For me, my modern car is great, but my heart lifts on driving th...

Rear axle drain plug key

For those interested in Morris Minor toolkit originality, I have had a limited number of the, difficult to find, differential drain plug keys re-made. They were a part of the original tool-kits for Series II and Series III vehicles until Chassis No 848240 and had part number 1G7372. They will fit Se...

Re: Trafficators for later models

Rather than butcher the B post, and if you really want to do this, have you considered. externally fitted trafficators , often seen on earlier Minor LCV's as they were not fitted with trafficators? See them frequently at auto jumbles.

The MM bit may indicate that it was a car supplied by Stewart and Ardern, the London Morris dealers who were at one time, the sole users of the MM registration mark

If by 'woke' you mean aware of / alive to or sensitive to the needs and feelings of others, then sign me up. If it is just, as it appears, a thoughtless insult then that is your problem. As someone in the 'woke' category I would normally forbear to mention the soles / souls homophone ... oops!

Re: No time wasters.

A 'time waster' (noun) is the individual who says ' Can you hold. it for me I am coming down to visit my parents on the 31st and will pick it up around 1.30...I will pay in cash'..... It came and went with a 'no-show.' ( a synonym for 'time waster.') It certainly wasted my time and the blatant lie, ...

Really interesting, did you add anything to the araldite in terms of colouring? My lowlight steering wheel is a pink marble. The cracks are mainly around the spoke areas.

New King and Harper dealer badge

More King and Harper goodies. For those of you with a Minor supplied by the Cambridge Morris agent. I recently came across a K&H badge on the NS glove compartment of Liz Harris's lovely black 1957 4 door Saloon. I have had them reproduced on a hard plastic back with peel off self-adhesive backin...

Re: Facebook alternatives?

Both this forum and FB groups / pages have their place, but I would agree that adverts are becoming worse and scattergun rather than targetted. What really Ps me off are the intrusive 'feeds' which assume I want to see videos of moronic pursuits / hobbies and images of people remodelling their homes...
