Hi. I have been offered a 1972 Morris minor van with an asking price of £5600.00. The MOT,s indicates that he mileage is 22.000 and from a distance the paintwork looks ok. it has been resprayed but not that well. Thanks for your suggestions. I found the source of the water ingress. It's leaking through the rear window rubber in at the top near side corner.

I can address that now and will look to buy a new rubber, the front one has seen better days too.

Thank you for your input. I have lifted the rear seat, no signs of damp, taken the rear near side panel card off, still no signs of damp, removed the horizontal card under the rear seat, no signs of damp! Even the carpet covering the rear internal cill on the passenger door threshold doesn't appear ...
