Thanks for your suggestions. I found the source of the water ingress. It's leaking through the rear window rubber in at the top near side corner.

I can address that now and will look to buy a new rubber, the front one has seen better days too.

I have lifted the rear seat, no signs of damp, taken the rear near side panel card off, still no signs of damp, removed the horizontal card under the rear seat, no signs of damp! Even the carpet covering the rear internal cill on the passenger door threshold doesn't appear ...
