Sorry I haven't updated the forum. My wife bought Pirelli seat webbing and repaired the seat. She did cross straps (3 on one side and 4 on the other I think). So far several weeks later it works very well.

Does anybody know what tool he used please?

I have spent the whole weekend trying to fit one strap. Either something is wrong or I am physically not up to it. Is there a technique I can use, maybe a ratchet strap? Or is there somewhere I can send the seat to have the straps fitted. Or I might just upgrade to BMW mini seats!

Hi All

My crankshaft pulley took a whack and is now quite badly damaged. I have ordered a new one. The garage suggested buying a oil seal as well. But I don't know whether it is felt or rubber. Is it possible to tell please? I have a 1964 two door 1098 saloon.

I have had a lot of work done on the engine. Yes to recent fitting of the electronic ignition bit also head rebuild and bottom end bearings fitted. I think the engine was settling in.

Hi All

Not sure what to call this but when I put on a seat belt because the mount is low it doesn't sit right on my shoulder. Has anyone got a mod or a suggested part to lift the seat belt please?
