Re: Fuel Gauge and Tank Sender
Dear Mackie The Border Collie, Made the very big mistake of showing your post to my wife, who loved the picture and then started (not for the first time) making noises about always wanting a border collie and it would be good for me to get out walking etc etc... Big mistake. Anyway, because of your ...

Re: Fuel Gauge and Tank Sender
Hi Graham, This is absolutely brilliant feedback - exactly what I wanted - thanks so much. However, the one bit I didn't make clear (entirely my fault) is that I've never actually seen the fuel gauge working (or to be more accurate, it always reads full), so I'm guessing it could still be the gauge ...

Fuel Gauge and Tank Sender
Hi Everyone, I have a 1960 (gold speedo) car with a non-working fuel gauge. Trouble is, I don't know if its the gauge itself or the sender in the tank. Can anyone point me at any info. to help with diagnosis, like what voltages should be where and/or other tips to help me find the issue. Many thanks...

Re: Seat Paint/Dye

Seat Paint/Dye
After about a year of ownership, I'm finally getting around to the interior refurbishment. Maggie is a 1960 2-door, Old English White, 'Maroon' interior. I've stripped the seats, bought the high-density foam seat base, know about the 12 pirelli straps, the squab padding etc., but I'm struggling with...

Re: Short Wife!
Thanks everyone. Its me that wears the platform shoes actually (along with the sparkly jacket and shirt with huge collars). Minijojo - brilliant suggestion - I vaguely remember I had some of these on my first mini (which was actually a Riley Elf), so for under ten quid, definitely worth a try.

Short Wife!
My lovely wife is too short to be able to push our Maggie's clutch pedal (or brake actually...) all the way down. The seat is all the way forward, on its front setting on the seat bolts, and we've tried cushions etc. Any suggestions? Does anyone know of any brackets or anything that might move thing...
