Original Morris Minor Wheels

These 4 wheels are the original wheels from a 1969 Saloon (since sold, I put larger wheels on it). They are the original Dunlop wheels and the Dunlop logo is showing in the photo. I've cleaned them up and they are in remarkably good condition with only surface rust present. Ideally they need sandbla...

Morris Minor Hubcaps

These 4 hubcaps are from my old 1969 Saloon (since sold) I removed them to fit larger wheels. I've spent some time cleaning and then with a mini electric polisher, the rears had some rust, but this was treated and then treated in Lanoguard. They have come up pretty well in my view and are perfect to...

Re: clutch whine when depressed fully?

I think I have found the problem; i've driven the car up onto a pair of ramps and taken off the nearside gearbox inspection cover as Phil suggested, with wife pushing clutch pedal the clutch withdrawal lever (as described in Haynes) was not pushing on the release bearing but pulling, the 2 retaining...

Re: New Wiring Loom for Alternator, blowing main fuse

After this afternoon in the garage I have moved on somewhat; it was the interior lights wired wrong that was blowing the fuse, now the interior light works and turns off when you push in the door closure switch, I presume you should be able to over-ride the door control switch on the interior light ...

Re: New Wiring Loom for Alternator, blowing main fuse

The black wire i refers to is the thick black cable from the solenoid switch to the starter motor, and thats shown on the wiring diagram. the wiring diagram also shows an earth to the starter motor which i presume is through the engine earth and not a seperate earth?
So still non the wiser here!
