Treating traveller wood

Hi can someone please give me some advice on what to use on my woodwork?
Oil or varnish and also where's best to purchase the complete kit of channels for the sliding Windows, thanks.

Re: Alternator and electronic ignition kits

I went for the DYNAMTAOR. So it is an alternator in a dynamo body so gives out 45amps and looks original. Wired the same as an alternator so easy to install. Also electronic ignition kits are on eBay for around £30 really easy to install as well.

Hi les, how's the work going on your cars? I'm the guy with the green Traveller you took pictures of if you're wondering haha. I've been after a nice set of wheels for ages.

Re: Wrong identity on MOT database??

Yes okay I can go ahead with that but is there a way I can get a reg for the year it was made? (It's an ex mod vehicle) I'm trying to keep it as original as possible so what would you do? Thanks.

Re: Wrong identity on MOT database??

Thanks for the responses guys.

It's an ex army vehicle so does anyone know how I go about getting a reg plate for the year it was made??
And am I best changing it before it goes on the mot database or will it not matter (for originality). Thank you.

Re: OVERHEAT when idle?!?!?!?!!

So I've been tinkering about with it today and it idled for an hour without overheating but the orange light is always on but goes off when accelerating. The oil level is topped up correctly.
