Re: Barn Find

The other ones I like are: I haven't tried it but the engine turned over before it went in the barn. May need some work. Looks to be in good condition (that one is always supplemented by one solitary picture taken from 300 yards away). Needs a good polish or a respray. Only done 25,000 miles (who in...

Re: What is the clubs nominated charity for 2015

I'm a new member, when I signed up for membership I thought that this website and the forum were part of the MMOC, am I wrong in that assumption? If they are, then why is there so much trouble getting a straight answer from "Head Office", after all they exist to serve us, not the other way...

Re: Large collection of Morris Minors on eBay?

Stonehouse is a bit far for me to go and have a look, thanks for that though, most appreciated, I wonder if he will put the rest of them up for auction?

Re: insurance

Was that for a Minor or a modern? That was for a Minor and a learner 17 year old, just myself and my wife were only £69 fully comp with £100 excess, FJ are at least £5 dearer, not a lot I know but still more expensive. I have nothing against FJ, I have never used them before but Club insurance is o...

Re: Making Body Panels

If you look in the 'Readers Rides' section, you'll see the restoration he's been doing on an FB Victor. Absolutely jaw-dropping stuff. I read that thread first and that took me to the "Making Body Panels" thread. He might have been doing it for 20 years but he is truly awesome. I think I ...

Making Body Panels

If you have never seen this thread on Retro Rides then you are in for a treat, the gent (TonyBMW) is awesome, I wish I was as half as good as him at metalwork. :)

Lead Loading

Not sure if this is the correct section for this, but I seen this course being offered by Frost and thought it might be useful for someone on here. It's a bit to far for me to travel to. https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/lead-loading-one-day-course-tickets-14334505893?utm_source=2015_02_07_ValentinesGi...
