Re: Tyres (again)

John Naylor, it is indeed possible :) I worked it out to be (quick napkin and phone maths (so quite a bit of rounding poorly)): 145 = 874.8 revs/mile 155 = 848.7 revs/mile I'm going to use the latter as an example. These calculations do not take into account how the tyre and wheel slightly overlap o...

Re: National Rally: On-The-Door Booking

Thanks for the information. :D

One last thing, if I book on the door, do you think camping pitches would still be available?

Thanks

Re: Anyone one from down south going to the nationals? :)

Sorry about bringing back an old thread, but are you planning on going near the M25/ M1? I'm based in Croxley Green and it is too my first time attenidng the rally. Would be nice if I could head down with a couple other Moggys :D

National Rally: On-The-Door Booking

Hi,

I have not been able to book for the national rally in advance due to not knowing if I can definitely make it.

I've left it too late to send away the booking forms, does anyone know if on-the-door bookings are definitely accepted? (Or is there a chance I'd get turned away?)

Thanks,
Albert

Re: New Drivers/National Rally Advice

Thanks both for the advice! We've just changed ordered a full set of tyres as they're all pretty worn remoulds. I will certainly be packing in the miles as soon as insurance is sorted out. :D

Thanks,
Albert

New Drivers/National Rally Advice

Hello, I've had my Minor (2dr Saloon, Traf. Blue, 1965) since August and haven't had much time to do anything to it. It's currently at 103k miles and the previous owner managed to do a staggering 200 miles over the last 10 years! I use a motorcycle as my primary mode of transport, and now I've passe...

Re: Diddy dash cam for a Minor!

If you wanted a device which is still small, but provides GPS data , you could look at something like this - has sharp image quality as well as all of the G-sensor and GPs features. I've got mine on the passenger's side of the rear view mirror, and turns on (& starts recording) when the ignition...
