Re: Minor Registration
An update on the Registration saga. My mistake on the body number. Its actually 71533, not 41533 as previously stated hence the confusion on manufacture date. I have been speaking to a very helpful Derek Tew at BMIHT.who says with the body number and gearbox number they may be able to source the cha...

Re: Minor Registration
Thanks POMMreg. Any help would be appreciated. The body plate numbers on the thin strip plate on the upper N/S bulkhead, Z [I THINK IT IS A Z?] 32511 T41533 is the only I/D on the car apart from the gearbox number 162627. Engine is not original, the number on the diff has long gone due to corrosion,...

Re: Help needed registering Minor with no ID.
Well, I have had a crawl around under the car today and finally found a number on the gearbox It looks like 162627. I have cleaned the diff tube in the stated area but found no trace at all of a number. There is no evidence of any grinding off or scrubbing so not sure why no number here. How are the...

Re: Help needed registering Minor with no ID.
I am going to get under the car and see if I can find the Diff and box numbers. The engine I know is not the original so that number will be of no use. There is no number in the common accelerator cable area. I think the number may have been stamped on the long gone original drivers floor. I will tr...
