if this helps, I read somewhere, after you set the timing, that dizzy setting by the Dwell angle is much better than the old points. I think it is 60 deg on a 25DLucas. Can anyone confirm??
My 948cc never ran better..i was way of with the old points method.

Just picked up real cheap (for 10 USD) a Lucas LRA100 from what the fella selling thought came of a Mini. I'm in Oregon, USA. Does anyone know the ACR number and if suitable for the Moggy-948 cc 1961? The ACR number lets me get to output wire sizes etc based on Minor Matters article. My sockets also...

In all respects the remote housing looks identical to the smooth morris case . It has number 2A3411
