Nicely done.

I made the lights out of a couple of screw top plastic containers, painted black and fitted the LED lamps in traveller rear reflector mounts.
Quite happy with that, will tidy up the wiring another day.

It's been a while caused by waiting for bits and pieces and being incapacitated with a bout of bursitis so had difficulty even walking. But a couple of days almost pain free saw me get stuck in again. I had a bit of trouble getting the Reliant switch to work in situ so I reverted back to the origina...

I was in Ted today and took these pictures under the back seat. I'd repaired the area and re-drilled the hole but it's pretty much where it was.

Nasty bit of plaque showing there

Farecla G3 is a mild cutting compound which I've used on faded paint with good effect but you will probably need to do the whole panel to get an even finish. After the G3 a good polish and wax will seal it.

That's what they are on my '71 traveller and a quick search on other threads confirms it.
There's a great thread in the mechanical section called 'Thread Sizes' and details most of the tread sizes on the Minor, no mention of seat bracket bolts though.

It's MAPP gas/oxygen and not really suitable for welding steel as the gas composition makes them brittle. Soldering and brazing is fine.
Not used it myself but that's what a Google search throws up.

It's a substantial panel and it does support the rear frame by the two corner brackets and the recessed section on the edge but if there's enough good metal to weld to then go for it, but you don't want a saggy rear end in a couple of years

Smacks of a mass bot attack where the system is overwhelmed with multiple registration attempts. Happens quite a lot on the Mini Forum.

Is it just me or has the message board slowed down a lot over the last couple of days.

If this is the one you mean I just folded my own out of steel sheet and screwed it in place to the foot with seam sealer along the other seam.
