As for the porous tube, if that's something inside the reservoir then maybe it is. But I ran my finger down the back of the clip and those and they were dry; I assume there's some tiny crack in the plastic on the reservoir.

Just wanted to update the forum on the condenser. Got in touch with the Distributor Doctor and he sorted me out. Garage put a new condenser, points and rotor arm in today. Car running much more smoothly now; mechanic said he took it out for a run and a biker wanted to race him.

If you're going to get one of these, you might want to buy a lock from the people at the same time. The cover arrived and fits nicely, but I thought I could use a regular padlock on it. Instead you need a cable lock and one wide enough to go under the Traveller, I believe. I've ordered one from them...
