Re: The new addition to the family (my first traveller)

Thanks guys I always thought they were welded in. The other side was badly welded in so will get that off and screw it in like it should be :D

Is there anything else in the welding pictures that look out of place just saving trouble later on

Thanks
Jordan

Re: The new addition to the family (my first traveller)

So much easier than the passenger side all bolts came off without problems [frame] http://mmoc.org.uk/mbimage.php?src=1469561864_21739 [/frame] So once it was off again there was no scary sights nothing I wasn't really expecting. All the rot in the pict...

Re: The new addition to the family (my first traveller)

So after work I thought I'd get that awful passenger side off. Well I'm both horrified by what some people pass as acceptable and also happy with how solid it is. Although it does need some welding in areas and some welds redoing. So after ripping the waist rail off i thought I would start at the fr...

Re: The new addition to the family (my first traveller)

I would suggest replacing all the wood. It sounds like you plan to replace everything except the driver's side anyway. That way you will not have to worry about having to try and match. I suspect once you get all the drivers side sanded back to good wood, you may find dark or soft patches anyway. I...
