rear wheel cylinders,
Is there any difference in physical size between the rear wheel brake cylinders of early and late minors please?
I am rebuilding a 1960 4 door, and having problems with fitting new later cylinders to the original axle.
As they are all 7" at rear, I thought that they would be identical?

Brake upgrade,
Just need to check that I haven't forgotten something please.
I am upgrading a 1960 4 door to 8" front setup, and have all the parts from a later model to swap.
Just need to know if the swivel pins are the same to each model please?

Oil pump cover replacent.
I am still attempting to cure oil leak from rear seal and it has been suggested to me from a reliable source that the oil pump cover plate should be changed when rebuilding. I have investigated this, and the ridge on this one seems to be suspect, as it is flattened somewhat. Should these plates be c...

Rubber crank seals for 1275 A+
Trying to find the rubber seals to cure the leak at rear of sump seal, but the only supplier that I can find are for 1275 Midget application.
Are they suitable for A+ please? I do know that the mains are the same size, but not sure of rear flange?

Re: Crank bushes.
Thanks for reply. The Minor shaft nose fits the Marina Needle roller bearing perfectly. Previous advice has been to swap bushes/ bearings to gearbox type That is why I asked, as confused.
Not sure that there are many who would fit Marina Gearbox to a Minor?

Crank bushes.
At present fitting a 1275 to a Minor with Minor G/box, and discovered (because I have both input shafts to hand) that the Phosphor bronze bush from the Minor is smaller in outside diameter than the Marina needle roller. This means that changing the N/R to a P/B would result in mismatch with the Mino...

1275 Conversion flywheel wanted.
Have tried the usual suppliers, but they all seem to be out of stock of the above item?
I wonder if anyone has one for sale please? I can modify the backplate myself, and have a Midget 1275 flywheel that I could use, but would need re drilling of the clutch mountings. Any out there?

Manifold plugging.
Before I fit a Mini alloy inlet manifold to my A+, I need to remove the vacuum pipe take off as I have learnt that is advisable to use the carburettor take off only. I do have some small gallery plugs to hand with correct tap, but what about sealing this into alloy?
Any suggestions please?

I would like recommendation please for make of above kit for Minor rad. There are a fair few options to choose from so am unsure which one works best on the Minor rad. I have 1275 A+ fitted and not keen on the modified standard fan mod. Accuspark 14 " looks ok, but having suffered with their ig...

Re: Gearbox only removal.
Gearbox was noisy since purchase with sloppy lever so was well aware of needing attention. However, yesterday it stated jumping out of third which then deteriorated to no engagement, carried on, and 2nd did the same thing, although it could be held in manually. Surprisingly, first gear was operating...

Re: Gearbox only removal.
Yes, I would not have considered this method if I had not recently finished a full rebuild, with new chassis. (van)
Cross member was new with new fixings-- should be a breeze. It was always planned to replace the 1098 engine and ropy gearbox at a later stage, so this has bought it forward a bit.
