Re: Thickness of floor panels
Thanks guys for your quick replies. It's a gas/gasless mig welder but I'm going to be using it as a gas one and I've already got the co2/argon mix but thanks for the tip anyway.

Thickness of floor panels
Hi guys, I've just bought a mig welder and I need to know what thickness the floor panels are so I can set it up right. I haven't got the gauge tool required to get an accurate measurement so I've used a tape measure which with my eyesight isn't a good idea. :o I haven't welded before so there's ple...

Re: Using a shotblasting cabinet
I'm using a shot blaster pot using aluminium oxide to remove underseal and paint from my moggy which is on a roll over jig in my workshop. I've enclosed the working area with a plastic sheet to catch the shot blast which as you say gets very cloudy. Then I collect the shot with a dust pan and brush,...

Re: Should I buy a Morris minor?
Like you I knew nothing about car maintenance so before I bought my first minor I read through some of the questions and answers on this forum but I thought the best way to learn was to get my hands dirty and strip down a car. So I bought a minor last April and started to dismantle it. I can tell yo...

1966 2 door saloon full restoration
Hi everyone, this is my story. I met my wife 32 years ago and 1 of the things she's always wanted was a multi coloured morris minor, yes I said multi coloured. Over the years she's told everyone we know that this is her dream car knowing, as she says, it will never happen. So 4 months ago I started ...
