Sounds like sticking wheel cylinders then..or perhaps the springs as suggested above. Have you checked if all the cylinders are freely moving? yes all wheel cylinders been replaced as well as brake hoses....... hi, no not all ,only the front two wheels ,mainly the drivers side.....

Another thought, is the breather hole in the master cylinder open and is the fluid level well below the threads? before starting there is some free play

the wheel does turn ok before starting the journey .but starts binding after a few miles

please help, as my front brakes keep binding and getting rather hot on short journeys ,I have replaced all the front cylinders, and hoses and adjusted the shoes but this keeps happening also the brake switch connecter has been replaced . may be a new brake master cylinder would solve this problem .i...
