Re: How to post a photo

I'll go along with that. Just wondering, and the answer may be obvious to others, however why, if the file size has been expanded temporarily, can't it be done permanently? As PB had already surmised, it's to do with speed and/or space. It might not seem much in the great scheme of things, but we c...

Re: How to post a photo

The ONLY way I have been able to add your image is by embedding it within another pic entirely! Changing the file name, editing it in my own editor and embedding it into a brand new blank file, all sorts, and every time it refused to upload. van3.jpg Okay, there IS a bug, and after a lot of digging ...

Re: How to post a photo

This is becoming a load of carp. Earlier today I successfully uploaded a pic. File resized to 123.83kb and 800x600pxl using Brian's link. Now I'm trying to upload another pic. File resized to 102.18kb and 600x600pxl using Brian's link but unable to upload as 'File size too big'. Resized it again to...

Re: Door alignment

A word of caution , if fitting shims to the hinges. On no account should you remove all the bolts for an individual hinge without making provision to "hold onto " the captive plate that lurks unseen , behind the A post or B post. The "ledge " inside the door post frequently rust...

Re: Members Area Access - Post Membership Start

Luke. If you re-post this under 'Problems with the messageboard' you'll probably get a swift-ish response from the Administrator, but maybe not a swift resolution to this issue. There are apparently known issues with the Members Area. Quite a few of us are unable to access it. There is also a recen...

Re: Members area

You're far too quick for me pb, I'd not even seen this post before you replied :D :D There are two distinct 'logins' on the MMOC website - the 'members area' for current MMOC members, and the messageboard, for anyone who has an account there - and about 80% of the problems experienced are as a resul...

I am genuinely losing the will with this messageboard lol. No, nothing has changed that should have upset anything that we confirmed as working last week PB, so it's another support request to our IT provider. Yes, I know they haven't answered the last one yet. Yes, it [censored] me off too.

Re: Mot

I was chatting to Sandy Hamilton about this scenario, since like others in this thread my tax renewal and MOT date are a long way apart. His view was that, while a vehicle was theoretically able to be MOT exempt from May 20, there was no mechanism whereby it could be declared so, at least until the ...

Re: NEW - can't post photos

Mike. Indeed you're quite correct regarding the attachment manager. I've found them now... different image numbering as and when I've uploaded from different cameras or devices... tends to jumble them somewhat! We'll call that issue closed and dealt with! :) Yay, another satisfied customer! Oh okay...

Re: NEW - can't post photos

Just checking Palacebear - you are sure about the attachment manager not having any images for you since last year? Only I've just looked at my own version, and found that the image I just added above is half way down the list. It took me a moment to figure out why - for some bizarre reason, the lis...
