Re: Old welding and patch ups
On the second picture patch is clearly not seam welded so should be an mot failure, so would suggest a clean up and weld. My car was supposedly restored professionally long before I bought it, used for a year and then stored for another nine years, and the repairs look much like yours. Luckily I wan...

Re: four door rear seat back
A fairly common problem I believe , the sun has ruined the top edge all the way along. I didn't know I could get a new piece of material put in as the rest of the interior is pretty good .

Re: Please help
More to this than meets the eye I think. I have doubts about hearing from the original poster again , he seems pretty relaxed about losing his car , I'm afraid I would have been knocking on doors ages ago.

Re: Reviving Gertie
Very slow going as doing two jobs at moment Main work on Gertie has been cleaning off old underseal and repairing floors . I have found smooth Hamerite in the muted clay colour is very similar to Dove grey when a small amount of black paint is added, and this will be the final coat underfloor. Here ...

Re: Can anyone identify this tool
this is a floor board clamp , used them many years ago. The two lugs go either side of floor joist pull handle back then tighten against side of floorboard with threaded part. Damn fiddly to use but if pushing boards against a wall you could push wall over if not carefull

At the end of the day the club rules are put in place to protect the club surely?
One large compensation claim could very well equal end of the club in my view, no one wants that
