I would be interested as long as I can still afford the petrol
September's best for me.

Blue lights on ex police vehicles petition... please sign!
The short version of the story, as I understand it from the ex Police Car club I'm a member of (PVEC), is that one member was arrested for driving with a blue light fitted on their ex police vehicle, and found guilty in court, though just released afterwards. The PVEC are now recommending that you d...

Re: Panda car on TV this Friday
Lynda, is that BBC Look North or Tyne Tees TV ?? soo, looks like you're still enjoying Newby Hall, pity you can't make the job last until the show season    Mal They called it Look North on the phone, so I'm presuming it's that one. As I have no TV, I'm not really sure which area we...

Panda car on TV this Friday
This Friday (that's the 16th, in case anyone is reading this next week  ) my panda car will be on TV! The Thin Blue Line, ITV at 8pm. Dad's spent all day with them today for the filming. Thanks to the Moggy owner near Harlow who stopped to ask if they'd broken down! They hadn't, just setting up...

I bought a Road Angel navigator 6000 because they claimed 8 hour battery life, which is more than I'm likely to need in a day. It seems to be more like 4-5 hours, but I'm in the process of getting a new battery fitted as I don't think it's charging properly. I find a Satnav much safer than a map. I ...

PM with my email address on it's way - a copy of the photos would be great thanks :) Had a difficult journey back from Newby, queues on the A1 where it went down to 2 lanes, really heavy rain so we couldn't see to drive, then had to take a detour because it was closed further down the A1! Still, mad...

I'd probably win the loudest petrol pump award. We got stopped entering the rally field by people who were concerned about the odd noises... it sounds like someone's playing table tennis under the bonnet  Fun awards are a great idea, it means it's not just the people with smart cars who go home...

A 'wreck of the rally' award would be a nice idea. Might encourage people to bring their slightly less smart looking cars along. I help organise a craft fair in Cambridge. At that we try and get things to appeal to all ages, so for the children we set up colouring tables so they don't get too bored ...

Are there people here that are prepared to try and sort this out and organise some things to do with your car for next year? I'm up for it. Andy G My Dad's comment was also that there wasn't much to keep him entertained after we'd looked at the cars. I have no idea where I'll be next year but as I ...

I'm pleased to see the pics of our panda cars came out well Jay! I'm just about to download my photos, I'll put a link on here soon ish. Dad and I went on the Sunday and had a lovely day, though I do agree with the points about the toilets - they were pretty unpleasant! My other comment would be abo...
