Re: LHD or RHD, thats the question.....
Joachim,
my Moggie is a RHD, and I do not have any problems with that on our German roads. Regarding the discussion LHD or RHD there is also a thread on the homepage of the German Morris Minor Register.
As viewsonic says: LHD or RHD doesn't matter - just drive the Minor !!

Re: Big probs with the german TÜV! need help
Hi Dirk,
just wanted to say that I did not have any trouble at all getting the H-plate with disc brakes. But - to be honest - I found out that the guys at the TÜV have no common view on what is still "historic". So perhaps just change your TÜV-base and it could be fine.

Re: Former owner of NTO 945 F
Thanks for your replies. BMC is right that the name and the address is on the V5. So I tried to find out the telephone number of the former owner via Internet - unluckily there is no entry in the UK-telephone book under this address. So I rang the MMOC to find out, if the owner is registered - also ...

Re: Storage suggestions for my Traveller
As it is the first winter-time for me and my Morris, I read a lot about what should be done to prepare the car for its "hibernation". One says out with the oil before winter, others say change oil in spring. I am a bit puzzled now. Would it make a difference if I take out the car for a rid...

Re: Trunnion bushes
Having checked the dimensions, our technicians think that the wall thickness is not 0,063 mm but 0,063 inch. Nevertheless this size is not a standard size, which means a custom-made product, where the minimum order quantity is 10.000 pieces. So I have to say sorry, for not being able to help. ...

Re: Trunnion bushes
Just want to say that there are more producers of bushes on the market, like KS Gleitlager from Germany. The parts are also sold in the UK and the quality is excellent. I think I should add that I am a member of staff of MS Motorservice International GmbH  http://download-per.ms-motorservice.d...

Re: Cracks at pin on top of the windscreen
@POMMReg: I did indeed, and they paid the bill of the paintshop without difficulty and supported the necessary spares. Nevertheless i was annoying, as the car was out of order for a couple of weeks. But now I am glad it's sorted out and I can enjoy driving in the sunshine. I will go off now, as we h...

Re: Cracks at pin on top of the windscreen
I just want to give an update. As you can see from the pictures, the paintshop has done the "lead-loading" - and it was less expensive than suspected. Having done this work, the workshop guarantees a "crack-free" future, at least in that area :D[frame] http://mmoc.org.uk/mbimage....

Re: Cracks at pin on top of the windscreen
Yes, I think "lead loading" is the propper English word for what the paint shop wants to do. The car has received the necessary strengthenings (A- post to dash, B- post, and sill).

Cracks at pin on top of the windscreen
Hi everybody, I have problems with cracks in the paint at the pins at the top of the windscreen. My Morris is a just recently converted 1968 replica convertible and I would like to know if anybody of you faced the same problem and what can be done to avoid the cracks. The guys at my paint shop say t...
