When you say it won't do any harm, do you mean:

a) It won't do any harm to use grease, or
b) It won't do any harm to not use grease?

Apologies if I am being a bit dim :oops: :wink:

Rear wheel bearings

Hi, I am changing the offside rear wheel bearing. My Haynes manual talks about putting grease in the bearing upon reassembly, but having taken the bearing out, it is clear that the lubrication is from the differential oil. Am I correct, therefore, that when putting the new bearing in, there is no re...
