does sound like a restricted petrol problem, maybe a blocked pipe / filter - I see you have an extra filter so shouldn't be after this point?

I would give them a call and tell them a date of a rally you are showing the car at to give them a deadline, (@; This is exactly what I did yesterday morning. This morning I phoned again. He's now 1/2 way through the job. :o Amazing. Why does it take phoning someone every morning, pecking at them, ...

Re: Best place to get parts for minor??

Re: Lubricating rear leafsprings
I cant see that a light spray with penetrating oil will hurt - hadn't they used to wrap the springs in an oiled material? or am I thinking of something else. I can see the logic why not to get to much oil on the rubber mouldings, as said above dry springs might dampen the ride.

repairer - South Staffs?
Hi,
Might be a long shot but I was wondering if anyone on here knows of a reputable Morris repairer in the Cannock, Stafford or wolves area. I have long lost touch with everyone I knew, thanking you for any replies, steve

shocking, £500 for a gasket
I would cut your losses and never return to them but before you do ask for a breakdown of the parts, labour and vat and say your passing it to a solicitor - they should be refunding you not asking for more to repair it.

803cc to 948cc
Hi,
I have only ever had 803 engines and 1 1098cc engine car - I was wondering how much difference there is between the 803 and 948 and what other changes are on the engine, does the extra power make much difference to the feel or running of the car? also does the 948 still use the early gearbox?

Re: Series MM prices. Help!
i have kept my eye on prices for some time now seems you can get a restored car for around 5000 but have seen some for 7 - 8000 depends on the finish, there are a lot of great looking cars about from 1500 - 5000 below this they all seem to need lots of work. - have you a budget in mind? lowlamp on e...
