Re: Washer pump
Yes I agree about manual pumps its just that mine always had an electric one and was simply replacing it.
To be honest I didn't realise manual pumps existed for the Moggy!
I do now
Thanks

Washer pump
I bought a new washer pump and when connected it made a noise for a while then stopped.
A friend checked it and said it had blown (iron fillings coming out of it)
So a bought a new LUCAS one from the bay and the same thing happened.
Can anyone advise?
Thanks

Going to France
Hi
I have just had a complete chassis rebuild on my Morris Traveller and I want to take him to France for a trip.
I know about the headlight situation but what else legally do I need to do or bring in the car with me for foreign travel?
Many thanks
Mark

Re: Thing
Thanks for your replies.
Both the horn and Windscreen washer have stopped working, the interior light is fine.
I might just rip the horn out and start again.

Re: Condenser
Thanks Guys
That makes total sense now!
This was the mechanic who I stopped using because he told me my brakes could never be fixed amongst other things and who tried to "groom" the car off me.
Cheers

Condenser
Hi
How often should the condenser in the distributor be replaced?
I had one replaced three years ago when the diaphragm wore out and the car started kangarooing.
The mechanic said the old condenser was only functioning at 5%.
Thanks

I have had so much work done on Cyril over the past 3 years, one being a new floor, I decided to make a calendar of him through the seasons.

Re: Canvas
It was done at Asda Photo services. (Google it online)
I chose the largest size, 30 inches across.
The photo has to be of a very high resolution for it to look good and clear.
Hope this helps

Re: Canvas
Thanks
The canvas is in the back of the car when I brought it home. The whole pic is just done on my phone for the thread, just a way of presenting it.
Here it is out of the boot and on my wall.[frame]

Re: Windscreen washer pump
Thanks so much for that :D It was working fine until it came back from its floor restoration, now it doesn't work but the radio switches off instead when the button is pressed? I changed the pump and also cleaned the contacts, but I will suggest what you said and have another look at the wiring. Man...
