Could i use it in my 1098?

Tie rod end nuts
Ive just replaced the rubber bushes on the front wheel tie rods, the old ones were cracked on the surface. Trouble is I dont know how tight to do up the end nuts, should they be torqued up? Dont think so because you cant get a socket on the nuts. Can anyone help?

Ok, I will treat the whine as standard. That leaves me with the task of changing the oil in the gearbox as I dont know when it was last done. I'm told it needs 20w50 for some reason, (why not gear oil). If the old oil has been in there for some time (maybe years) there must be some gunge and foreign...

Hi all Last year I successfully swapped out my tired old engine for a recon unit and I got some great advice off the messageboard to help me along. It's time now to turn my attention to the gearbox which makes a whining noise in first gear but only when I'm using the engine to brake. Other than that...

Running in a reconditioned engine.
Hi all, this is my first ever message/ inquiry!
I'm in the process of fitting a reconditioned engine but I can't find any advice on how to start it up for the first time and to carry out the running in process. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. (It's a 1098cc)
