Re: Pickering steam rally, Pickering North Yorkshire.

A 'fake 'rally... How intriguing. There must be a story behind this. Yep - quite intriguing........ Mind was it the real Pickering rally or the fake Pickering rally where the man display groups didnt get paid a few years back as a couple of the organisers ran off with all the weekends takings.........

Re: Front Seat types? Adjustable/reclining etc

I have seen several very late cars (nearly all travellers - some ex RAF) with these factory fitted adjustable seats. Re: FAVOURITE LOCOMOTIVES (TRAINS)

Do you work in films or the media ? Not even close, Im an office worker and generally chained to a desk full of paperwork. This hobby is just a relaxation for me and an outlet for any artistic nature. I like the way the paint looks worn and the weeds look so realistic. Cheers - as I mentioned befor...

Re: FAVOURITE LOCOMOTIVES (TRAINS)

Fantastic, all you need to do now is make the rails and sleepers as manky as real ones where the only clean bit is where the wheels touch! Generally I do within the bounds of still allowing the rail heads to conduct electrikery!...........the track is actually frosted on that particular model (whic...

Re: FAVOURITE LOCOMOTIVES (TRAINS)

What lovely trains, vehicles and layouts Rippers - do you take them to shows? Yes - I am part of a small group called 'The East Riding Finescale Group' who build and exhibit layouts on the circuit and tend to design many of the layouts we build. The colured pictures I posted are of an old 4mm scale...
