Re: From todays Daily Telegraph

Brilliant story. Thanks for posting this, I only tend to read the papers on line these day and I'd have missed that!

Re: Practical Classics MM restoration.

I'd certainly be interested. I think if you put them up as a link, it wouldn't necessarily be useful to people now, but would be incredibly useful to others who may be searching for information in the future. :D

Re: Loosing water when hot

As a wild punt in the dark (and from having a friend who had something very similar happening to him) what is the state of the inside of the radiator? He tried pretty much everything, but swapping his old radiator with a newer one from my car cured it. His radiator had become clogged up with hard mi...

Engine Trolley? Removable Front Cross Member?

Apologies if this breaches forum etiquettem but I have posted this query in 'another place'. As I'm new to the Morris World I'm happy to be told off :) Anyway, I've just acquired a 1957 Traveller in need of some TLC and I 've bought a 1275 MIdget engine, box and 3.9 diff to go with it. Now (in a pre...

Re: Crich Minor Day - 12th May

Well a fellow Minor owner and I made the trip over from North Wales (admittedly in an Audi!) and had a very pleasant day! Took a few pics as well .... http://i1298.photobucket.com/albums/ag55/Caledfryn/Crich%20Tramway%20Morris%20Minor%20Meeting/DSCF2297_zps567a6e92.jpg http://i1298.photobucket.com/a...

Re: price of Travellers?

I'm not sure people realise how low prices still are in comparison to other marques. I've just bought a Traveller from the for sale section here and looking at prices of cars and the price of parts etc it's a pleasant surprise in comparison to the VW world which I'm more used to. Also, from what I'v...

Best Place for Panels?

About to get my Traveller project tomorrow and I'm assuming it's going to need some significant metal work once I start digging into it. If it was a Beetle (is that a swear word on this forum? lol) I'd know where to go for panels and who does the best quality. Any suggestions about where to go for t...

Re: North Wales Owners?

Ah great! Always had VWs in the past and it would be good to get to know a few people in the area with Minors.

The Traveller is getting delivered tomorrow (fingers crossed it's not too bad as I've not seen it in the flesh/metal yet!!) and it's going to be a while before it sees the road properly.

North Wales Owners?

Evening all!

I've just bought a Traveller and wondered if their are any meetings in the North Wales area? The details in the club area seems a bit out of date as the pub mentioned as a meeting point hasn't been called 'The Gamekeeper' for about 10 years!

Any other 'Gog' Minor owners out there?
