It's generally on a push switch operated by foot to the left of the accelerator pedal on UK (non export) models. I don't know about LHD export models, but my Jeep (LHD) had the dimmer on the left as well, so worth looking to the left of the accelerator pedal. There is nothing like that on my floorb...

I almost forgot...I was going to ask, is there a bright/dim switch somewhere for the headlights? :-? There is a tiny little slide switch under the dash - which switches the speedo illumination on/off - with the sidelights of course. I hate to seem dim, but I am not clear on what you just said there....

if yours is a serr11 split screen then the switch marked left and right is probably the trafficator switch,it was under the dash on the right side. Mine is a Series III, I am pretty sure...it has the single curved windscreen in place of the two piece split-screen and also a larger rear window. .......
