thanks for all the replies, some good bits of advice here. i think i may well go down the route of making my own after all. with the help of my welder brother hopefully :wink:

thanks, that is another option if i can find one to borrow. i am also wondering now how much room would be needed to roll the car as my garage is only small. i wonder if anyone might know the dimensions needed, as i dont want to obtain a roller only to find i cant use it ? :(
