I am in the process of restoring a convertable but have concerns over the alignment does any one know or can they give me a link to the jig settings

If you are bothered I have a great welder who is doing a complete rebuild on my Morris and doing a mint job very reasonable cost thus far less than 600 for my complete basket case

A great way to store parts is old Jam jars dunk them in very hot water the labels come of pop the bits in side screw the lid to the garage roof timbers and then screw the jar into the lid after you have labelled the jar " wing bolts etc" With regards to your seats smear them with Vasaline ...

'58 Morris Minor Convertible / '63 Morris Minor Barn Find

Removal of the seats and interior "owl" do do revealed more than feathers[frame][/frame]

Some of the parts cleaned up[frame][/frame]

Horrible rust around the rear of the petrol tank[frame][/frame]

or perhaps the petrol tank was holding the car together

As the wings were stripped from Tawny the extent of the rust became apparent[frame][/frame]

The breakers agreed to keep the shell for me and this has proved useful as a number of parts on Tawny were damaged and I removed bumper mounts with a grinder and then cleaned then up

I have as I said stripped everything possible and am using the long evenings to clean as much as possible[frame][/frame]

Please look at Daisy now stripped subsequent to her going to the breakers I went down and removed every useful bit I could think of[frame][/frame]

Blimey so much has happened since November! We completely stripped Daisy (the black '63) and have stripped it as much as we could, eventually taking a skili saw to her at the breakers yard.
