Thanks for advice! got one off with relative ease (requiring 2 people) just the thought of putting them back on when its all painted :roll:

We had a van doing that.......... then the whole of the suspension fell apart turning out at a junction :/ ------I think you'll find that's due to not greasing your trunnions!! 4 door saloon rear door removal

Trying to remove rear doors are proving to be a strugle seams like hinge is stuck in pillar? Any ideas or do the hinges have to be removed from the door?

Started trying to remove doors on the 4 door got the front drivers door of ok. anyone got any ideas for removing rear doors? are these the same for removal or different? is proving to be somethig of a strugle, all bolts are removed from hinge post. thanks.

Bit of an update, UPJ (2dr saloon green) we have now fitted a new head after a few years without out one! surprisingly it started with relative ease and runs aswell at it as ever done, not that it is saying much! so happy with the rest of it we decided to take it for MOT via air for tyres, alas fath...

Thanks for that, it confirms what we thought, (and would be my preferred choice) am I correct the coachlining should be red? as it is currently white (though we are a long way from worring about it haha!). I will have find chassis number to confirm for certain the year.
