Does anyone know the size of the thread in the chassis leg for the bolts holding the cover plate retaining the poly bush part of the clutch relay shaft? Rules simply state it has to be same as standard. I have seen cars with thinner, and noone seems to check but preparing cars for a living has taught me to stick to the regs if nothing else!

Can anyone tell me how thick the side windows are on the Minor? I need to order some Perspex for the side windows in my race car but according to the regulations it must be the same thickness as the standard glass. Bit of a query on dipsticks and dipstick tubes, are they different in 948 and 1098 engines?

I have just received one for a 1098cc engine assuming, stupidly, that they are the same in both engines.

Are they indeed different?

At the moment, the plan is just to get the car finished and going. The dampers are definitely for the Minor, as opposed to a Mini, as the kit is specific for the Minor from SPAX. If i end up having to fit different dampers, then so be it, but at the moment I'm just desperate to get the car finished....
