Car now has the pipe Seems to smell less when I'm driving it. I won't be under sealing so don't worry about that. As for

the bonnet, turns out I just wasn't trying hard enough to close it, nice and secure now.

The car isn't undersealed and I think this needs to be done sooner, rather than later. It has survived very well since 1956 without underseal, Waxoyl might be a better bet, especially inside box sections. Do I just apply it to the underside or should I give it a scrub with a wire brush first? Here ...

I should get to work on a Beginners Morris Minor Restoration thread.

I've just bought my first morris and I've tried insuring it with Footman James but they've refused to insure me because I don't have access to another vehicle :o . Is this a problem I'll have with other insurers? The car isn't going to be used as a daily driver as I use my bicycle to commute to work...

Ah no I wouldn't do that... It's probably a bit too far away from me anyway. Not many minors seem to come up in South Wales

There is a two door Minor in Trafalgar Blue (I think) sometimes parked just across the road from me on Teilo Street, Cardiff. I think it may belong to the person who has model minors on their window sill. Every time I see it, I look for a "For Sale" sign on it.
