OK think I have got there, AC pump was a red herring upon a closer look it has the SU pump. I took the carb off and did the float chamber lid test and manually with use of my finger when the forks are lifted up the pump stops and the fuel does not leak anymore. Looked at blowing out with an air line...

Has always had a leak but got worse since carb was serviced and even

Def an Ac pump electrical if i look in the float chamber having taken the lid off
There is a brass looking float at the bottom of the chamber? Not attached
To the lid by anything like some of the newer replacement ones on web sites??
Is something wrong in my chamber??

I think it is not a leaking lid gasket as volume of the leak once float chamber is full is like a burst pipe not a gasket seepage.
Any more views please??
Could float be broken so pump is not shutting off when chamber is full,
Volume of leak suggests pump is running all the time??

Fuel pipe woes -Help!!
This I presume must be a common problem? The rubber hose from AC electric pump to SU reservoir was leaking. Tightening did not happen, so cut a bit off the hose in case split and attempted to re-fix. I tried new clips etc but did not tighten enough to stop leaks when pump is on. So bought a new pipe...
