They are the ones.
The slightly longer length and waist helps to clear the two bolts that holds the two halves of the calliper together.

Re: Morris Marina Grumpy Disk Brake conversion Bleed Nipple Size
The bleed nipples in the link are Ford. They are not suitable for the original Marina calliper. They are only suitable for re-manufactured Marina callipers. The genuine Marina calliper bleed nipples are 3/8" x 24 TPI UNF. ESM list the bleed nipples in the link below as suitable for the Marina b...

It is so easy to change the polarity of the electrical system on a Minor even if you retain the dynamo.

Re: Marina 1275 electronic ignition
I have the Lumenition Optronic electronic ignition system system with matching Lumenition coil fitted to my Minor. The distributer is a Aldon competition unit matched to the engine build spec. The distributor is not fitted with a vacuum advance unit. The engine is based on a 1275cc 'A' Plus Marina/I...

Re: Spin On Wire Wheel adapter, can you identify this?
The Spridget/Midget hub adapter just bolts on the outside of the drum using the four wheel nuts. There is nothing special about the adapter other than the fact that the L/H adapters are L/H thread. Using the Sprite/Midget hub adapters is an easy way of fitting wirer wheels to a Minor. I would sugges...

Re: Lifting brackets
John You are quite right to be concerned about the strain being placed upon the rocker shaft studs when basic lifting equipment is being used.. It has been common place for some time to use the lifting eyes with a chain attached to both eyes which pulls the lifting eyes towards each other and which ...

Re: Hub removal problems, another plea for help!
Have you got the right nut? The old nut fitted but the new nut will not? Before you do anything check that you have got the right nut. If you can start the old nut again put a couple of hacksaw cuts across the internal thread of the old nut (to just below full thread depth) and gently screw the nut ...

Re: Hub removal problems, another plea for help!
I would suggest that you fit the later type hubs with the 'O' ring groove. Here is a pair which appear to be good. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/336019775501?_skw=morris+minor+rear+hubs&itmmeta=01JYKMT75PSYQ3PTBN9HMB74TX&hash=item4e3c56e00d:g:kycAAOSwpJFoUU8C&itmprp=enc%3AAQAKAAAA8FkggFvd1G...

I am sorry that I cannot help with the return to the original drum brake set up but why cannot you just register it as a non collectors vehicle to get over any initial hurdle(s) and go from there?

Re: Minors on Tour 2025 Casualties
You had a lucky escape :tu1: Regarding the Minator wheels and wheel nuts. I have similar wheels as those fitted to your Minor. Whilst I have not had a wheel stud or wheel nut failure I have ditched the capped nuts as you cannot tell how far the stud is going through the nut. I have fitted drilled an...

John A good video. Though for normal road use a good quality oil pump is adequate but saying that always fit the best oil pump you can procure. Re: 948 Oil pump question
Personally I would not worry about the pump just fit and forget. I would prime the pump with some engine assembly fluid before fitting. When the engine is fitted and ready for starting I would remove the spark plugs and turn the engine over to get the oil around the engine and the oil pressure up be...

Re: 948 Oil pump question
Whilst it is nice to do - there is no real benefit in just de-burring the oil pump. It does not increase the oil flow to any great extent. Flow as well as the ability to create oil pressure is required. Reprofiling the inlet and outlets of the oil pump does increase flow and the ports of the oil pum...

Re: Torsion Bar Removal.. do I need to cut it out?
To remove the horseshow washer you have to knock the torsion bar reaction arm at the rear of the torsion bar forward as the horseshoe washer fits into the recess in the rear face of the reaction arm. Then you can knock the torsion bar rearwards. As jaeki indicates - moving the reaction arm on the re...

Re: old timer special?
The fan blades fitted to the car in question are the pusher type and completely wrong for the Minor which has the puller type fan blades. The blades of the fans fitted to transverse engines are angled the other way so as to push the air out through the radiator and out and away under the wing. A tra...

Re: Torsion Bar Removal.. do I need to cut it out?
The pin in the eye bolt is separate to the torsion bar. No matter how hard you hit the pin the pin cannot go backwards as it butts up against the front end of the torsion bar. Remove the thin suspension arm and refit letting it hang down. This is done to stop the pin going back through the eye bolt ...

Re: Front wheel bearing stub shim?
Having shims is not normal.
What brakes do you have fitted?
The only reason for the shims I can think of is if there was a need to move the hub outwards for clearance.
