Re: Original Distributor's Window Stickers
I know where my car came from... Courtesty of ASL looking it up at Gaydon 8) It was sold from Caffyns, Brighton which used to sit on the A23, it was a car dealership right up until last year. I always knew it as an MG/Rover dealer and then when they went bust the building fell into disuse until late...

Re: Restoration Project 1952 4 d Saloon in Finland
And finally a little "puzzle". I booked myself a new project for next winter. Because it's not Minor, I will give you only the car number plate. Who will recognize it first? :) Five-point hint, it's a Morris.. :) [frame] http://mmoc.org.uk/mbimage.php?src=1344699992_15172 [/frame] it's ac...

Re: Hello! ...And help?
Hi, I know its a bit late now, because bidding has ended, but the rusting along the rear edges of the front wing (by the door) can be indicitive of a serious rust problem in the inner wings and A post (the bit which the doors hinge on to) and the sill finishers look to be a bit on the crusty side to...

Re: pre 1960, MOT exempt cars
The Covertible in the garage was apparently manufactured in 1964 and registered on the 2nd Jan 64. So I'm not entirely convinced that the details are correct.... I cant believe that the imfamously militant British Car Manufacturer employees would have been working new years day, nor can I believe th...

Re: MOT Receipt style certs
What concerns me about the paper system and forgeries, is a forged bit of paper when buying a vehicle. Its now more work to establish wether a vehicle has MOT or not. Personally, when selling a car in the future, I'll have the laptop to hand so any prospective buyer can look it up themselves, but go...
