I've just noticed that just below the right hand side of the speedo (you only see it if you look from below) is a small switch.
Rather than dismantling things and trying to trace wires etc., can anyone tell me what this switch is for?

replacement seat belts
My minor currently has static seat belts fitted at the front.
Is it possible to fit modern inertia seat belts from another car?
If so, what car is it best to get them from?
I saw new ones for sale specifically for a minor for £37 + vat, but thought that this was a bit steep.
