Thanks guys, the handbrake is not connected yet and the shoes are both the right way round, as in the adjuster is in the cut out and the curved end of the other is on the other side. It really makes no sense, I am thinking of taking a grinder to the other end of the shoes and taking a couple of mill...

Rear Brake Help
Hi everyone, i am hoping someone can kindly help me please? I am replacing the brakes on my wifes 1967 Morris 1000 and having replaced the cylinders, springs and shoes on the rear I cannot for love nor money get the drum back on. The fronts have been done (8") and they slipped on no problem at ...
