I do not know what brake shoe's they are. i bought them of e/bay probably not by mintex.
i am going to replace them with mintex shoes, as the sound is getting worse.

had a mechanic take a look at it and he took each plug out while it was running, and said that it is only firing on 2 cylinders. he needs to take the head off and replace some valves. so got onto ebay and found one that's been reconditioned hopefully it will run like it just came out of the factory....

Yes that is a bargain, did you get it done? if so could you recommend? as i would like mine done. it just needs rubbing down a bit

thanks for all the advice, i live in sw london, and yes the cheapest quote i got was for £1500. when polished with a good car polish it comes up nice and glossy, but not all over. its just that the respray that it had before i owned it 5 years ago was a bad job, as you can see ripples in a few place...

well i just got a tin of the old underseal and gave the underneath 2 thick coats, managed to get in all the corners with a brush.
did this on a really hot day when the under floor was really dry.
