Hi there I fitted a small amp under the front passenger seat so its out of sight out of mind and then just connected my mp3 player up to it there are plenty of second hand amps on ebay if you fit it under the front seat make sure its the right size so it doesn't catch when you put the seat down. Standard lucas ignition coil vs lucas sport coil
Hi there can anybody tell me what the difference between the the standard coils and the sports ones would the sports one make any differance to a standard 1098 running on standard points or is all a load off rubbish because I know lucas isnt the same as it used to be with the quality of the parts.

Hi can some please tell me what the torque wrench settings are for the u bolts on the springs and also the shackles please I have looked in the haynes manual and cant find anything what a crap manual.

if you have the diff out of the axle, you should be able to read a code on the outside edge of the crownwheel gear. It will be given as a fraction such as 9/38, which would equate to 9 teeth on the pinion and 38 on the crownwheel. In that case, your ratio is 4.22:1 (standard for a 1098 minor). If i...

Dont bother ordering one of them amps from China I bought one and it didnt work waste of money It would have cost more to send back there is plenty of good second hand ones on ebay

I recently fitted a heating element to my rear windscreen, it works fine on the flick of the switch. Have you checked the wiper embellishers mine both leaked on the rubber seal it was running through on to the glove boxes and round on to the footwell I replaced them and put some silicone inbetween them also.
